New MS1 Mobile Slit Lamp, Excel with Eye Examinations Anywhere

Announcing the newest addition to the TAKAGI Slit Lamp range, the MS1 Mobile Slit Lamp. A device incredibly easy to use, designed not only for Ophthalmologists and Optometrists but also for any health care professional with a smartphone. It’s like having a slit lamp in your pocket!

MS1 extends the boundaries of the examination room into the field, allowing eye examinations to be performed in distant and sparsely populated areas, during home healthcare visits by medical professionals.   This Mobile Slit Lamp is a versatile solution fitting in any circumstance where eye medical care has difficulties reaching, allowing non-Ophthalmologists to perform an eye examination and sending the images directly to the Ophthalmologist for a diagnosis.

MS1 is equipped with a blue filter and a diffuser as standard, as well as the following illumination specifications:

·      High-brightness LED illumination up to 40,000lux

·      ø14mm length slit illumination

·      0.2mm width slit illumination

·      30° from left fixed angle illumination

MS1 has excellent usability features, with smart rollers at the tip of the forehead and cheek rests, fixing the device in position and enabling the eye scanning while making a video examination.
